Hydrogen Conversion
Hydrogen conversion is an undertaking of many early adopters of
alternative fuel technology. It must be noted that there are two
kinds of hydrogen conversions that most people will undertake including
total and partial.

Total hydrogen conversion means changing your vehicle so that it
runs on 100-percent compressed hydrogen gas. This is appealing to
many who want to thumb their noses at Big Oil and become independent
from fossil fuels.
The downside to this, however, is that conversion is expensive,
starting upwards of $30,000. There are also very few places to fuel
up a hydrogen vehicle. California currently has 25 H2 refueling
stations scattered about the state and many states don't even have
one refueling station.
Another downside is that by doing a total hydrogen conversion,
you're not really getting away from fossil fuels. Not yet, anyway.
Right now, over 90-percent of the hydrogen produced in the U. S.
is by steam reforming of natural gas. It's true that many advances
are being made in the electrolysis of water to create hydrogen for
refueling stations but most of this is still in the prototype stage.
A second method of hydrogen conversion is the partial conversion.
This means that you can partially convert your gasoline or diesel
vehicle to run on hydrogen. This method does, in fact, use electrolysis
of water to create hydrogen on demand.
The hydrogen created from water is then ported into the vehicle's
intake system where it helps the fossil fuels to burn more completely
and cleanly. This reduces emissions and increases gas mileage, sometimes
dramatically.
When using a hydrogen conversion eBook such as the ones advertised
on this website, one can convert one's car to run on hydrogen for
under $100 with items easily attainable from Home Depot or an auto
parts store.
There are also hydrogen conversion kits available for those who
don't want to take the time and trouble to build their own generators
for their cars. No matter which way you go, a hydrogen conversion
makes sense for many vehicles and drivers who are tired of unhealthy
air and paying premium prices at the pump.
